I’ve been anticipating the prequel to The Hunger Games for a few months now. Like many I had no idea what the story would be about until now. President Coriolanus Snow as a teenager during the early days of the Hunger Games. I’ve been fascinated by the character ever since Donald Sutherland portrayal (although I got into the books at the same time the first film was released). More than that I wanted a different perspective in Panem.

This is one of my favorite stories to write. I was inspired by a film I watched about an immortal man who’d live since the time of the cavemen. I can’t remember the name, but the movie pretty much had him telling a group of people about his life ad they had to decide for themselves whether he was telling the truth or not. There were no flashbacks, but he recounted his long life. In my version this character only remembers about as much as a person with a normal life s

A Ghost Story
Ever since I got into American Horror Story, I’ve always been fascinated by ghosts and haunted houses. Seeing stories from the point of view of a ghost was just as interesting. I like to think of them in a dream-like state and this is what I was attempting with this story. It was also inspired by depression that I’ve experienced during dark moments in my past.
Ripped From Time
With a sigh he rolls his eyes and puts the phone away. A faint ringing begins in his ears. He shakes his head trying to get rid of it, but the ringing only starts to increase in volume. Suddenly he begins to feel light-headed and he leans against a brick wall for support. Nausea sets in. All sound goes away, the only thing he can hear is the ringing which is now deafening. Everything begins to spin and go blurry. Then everything goes dark and silent.
